Working and living in Thailand – visa application

Are you going to work or study in Thailand for an extended period of time? This country has certain requirements for your health. A medical examination is a mandatory part of the permit application process.

We regularly perform this medical examination for students, expatriates and individuals staying in the country for a longer period of time.
The examination form that says ‘Medical certificate‘ must be completed by an independent doctor.

The medical examination includes:

• Anamnesis;
• Measuring blood pressure;
• BMI: height/weight;
• Vision – eye measurement at 5 meters distance;
• Urine check for glucose, protein, infections and blood levels.

What do you bring with you to the examination?

• The form from the embassy;
• Passport;
• Any medication or list from the pharmacy;
• A little urine (this is not necessary sober). 

The medical examination takes about 20 minutes. After the examination, if you are medically fit, you will be given the completed form right away.
